To design a dynamic monitor arm for SBFI. The design must incorporate excellent cable management, a tool-less adjustment system whilst maintaining aesthetic appeal.
Work spaces are designed for optimisation and human interaction. In a fast paced environment, the objects within need to be calm and stable. Specifically for the financial sector, objects in the office add value past the function, style and luxury are understood.
Strength and control
The desk edge mount is intended to be the most commonly sold mount, It gives the user the opportunity to put ARC on a wider range of worksurfaces.
In line with the tool-less brief, the desk edge mount is also tool-less. The slim line extrusion allows the mount to slide into a 10mm wall gap, reducing the need to move desks to install. The male part slides into 1 of 2 positions to accommodate a large range of work top sizes.
All installation attachments come with a group screw fitted to act as part of the arm movement limiter on the underside of the base casting.
Neocon 2017 exhibition.
SBFI’s Chicago Showroom was the centre stage for the launch of ARC at Neocon 2017.
The window needed to be eye-catching and brave. The aim was to move perception of SBFI as a company away from old school trading and into new markets.
